With Strictly now properly back on our telleboxes, I for one am so pleased it’s back, and I can’t help but remember when 2 of my all time favourites things came together: Louise Redknapp and Strictly Come Dancing.
Louise danced her way straight through to the final without ever facing the dreaded dance off, and scored 40/40 for her Argentine Tango in the Grand Final.
She is placed 8th in the all time contestant score sheet, and even though she did not win, she was the joint winner of the Tour with both her and Danny winning equal amount of shows, both beating Ore who won the trophy in 2016. Louise also scored higher than him as he is placed 12th all time contestants.
The all important Blackpool show she danced the Paso Doble which was my favourite dance of hers, scoring 38/40. I was lucky enough to see this live when I attended the tour at the o2.
Another high scorer for Louise was week 10 when she did the Waltz, scoring 39/40. It was simply beautiful.
She will always be my winner 🏆
