Good Thing peaked at No.8 in the UK Singles Chart. This gave the group their 7th UK Top Ten hit. It also hit the No.1 spot on the UK R&B chart.
Good Thing was written by David Frank and Jeff Pescetto and produced by Dennis Charles and Ronnie Wilson.
It was definitely more of an urban sound for the group, revisiting the tone of their debut single Stay. The single release featured remixes from Frankie Knuckles and Bottom Dollar.
This was my favourite single at the time with a stylish video and a fun dance routine. I like the funky, more urban vibe to this track.
Taken from the album Power of a Woman which went 2 x platinum with sales of over 600,000 units.
