Released in 1997, Woman In Me was the second solo album from Louise, charting at No.5 in the UK Top album chart, going on to be certified platinum and selling over 1 million copies.
This was a high point in Louise’s career. Lead single Arms Around The World hit No.4 in the UK Top 10 singles chart, her biggest hit at that date, which was followed up by Lets Go Round Again, another big hit, with All That Matters finishing the hat trick of singles from this album.
She also took the album on a UK tour, visiting venues up and down the country. All choreography was done by Jamie King who is famous within the industry for working with Madonna and Janet Jackson.
At this time in her career, Louise was featured on the cover of numerous ‘lad mags’ with FHM readers poll naming her ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’.
This album features many fan favourites such as Shut Up & Kiss Me, Reminds Me of You and New York Moon, the track her fans keep teasing her to sing again, a track she isn’t so keen on. Maybe one day…
