To celebrate the 25th #Singleversary of @LouiseRedknapp’s debut solo single #LightOfMyLife I have created this #DigitalArt using #ProCreate.
Light of my Life was co written by Simon Climie of Climie Fisher fame, is a beautiful ballad which showcases her voice perfectly. It was a big risk for her to take launching her solo career with a ballad, after departing from pop/RnB girlband #Eternal but it paid off, entering the UK Top 10 at No.8.
The CD single contained the up-tempo track Real Love which gave us a taste of things to come, as well as a piano version of Light of my Life.
The ballad still sounds strong in her set list for recent shows and was a stunning highlight of this year’s #HeavyLoveTour.
